Quentin Tarantino has turned his attention to the biker movie genre in his latest film, Hell Ride, a low-budget biker B-movie in the same vein as cult classic road movie 'Easy Rider'.
Writer and Director Larry Bishop, who stars in the movie himself as a biker gang leader, had this to say, "When I started writing Hell Ride, I wanted to make an amalgamation of a biker movie and spaghetti western. It was an odd thing to hear but Quentin's take on it was that he saw me as kind of the John Wayne of motorcycle movie people".
Dennis Hopper, who played the cowboy hat wearing 'Billy' in Easy Rider, also makes an appearance in Tarantino's latest offering. But Hopper isn't the only high profile actor in the cast, which includes Michael Madsen, David Carradine and Vinnie Jones.
The plot focuses on a clash between two biker gangs, the 666ers and the Victors, set against a California desert backdrop.
