Frank Sheene- there goes a Gent

A real ‘Gent’ has left us. Frank Sheene was always in the first group to say, ‘well done boy, good ride’, even when I finished in front of Barry. We spent some good times at the track and socially.

Frank did not hold back when my engineer asked for tuning tips with our Yamaha. Frank took a hack saw to the expansion boxes one day at Brands and it gave me much more speed and Barry pipped me to the line.

When we met here at Phillip Island a few years ago, it was like we had not been apart. My sincere condolenses to Margaret and the rest of the family. Love you Frank.
