Insurance provider Bennetts has unveiled its top five barking motorcyclists. And by that we mean motorcyclsits who carry their dogs as pillions.

The dogs and their owners have been chosen by Bennetts as part of their online initiative to find the UK’s weird and wonderful motorcyclists to celebrate the passion for biking that all bikers share.

The dogs are secured using an array of compartments and all wear the latest motorcycle gear for dogs!

Border Terrier Minnie has covered the most miles with her owner, Peter Garner. Covering 27,000 miles in her lifetime and covering an average of 3,000 miles a year.

Peter Garner said: “Minnie has to be one of the nation’s top barking bikers as there aren’t many places I have visited without my favourite riding partner!

“Positioning her on the back of my Honda 500 complete with Doggles to protect her eyes, we have great fun on the road and attract a lot of attention from other road users!”
