Only 100 official Royal Enfields left in UK

1 of 2

There are only 100 new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycles left for sale in the UK, after the firm stopped shipping the bikes to Europe because it no-longer meets European emissions laws.

Exports from Enfield’s Indian factory to Europe were stopped at the end of 2007, however UK retailers stocked up on the model to ensure supplies lasted well into 2008.

The Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 350 is one of the oldest bikes in production today, having been made since the mid-1950s. The bike features a 346cc single-cylinder pushrod engine that churns out 18bhp.

Production of the bike has been phased out in favour of a newly developed 500cc model that features emissions-friendly fuel injection and a catalyser in the exhaust.

The remaining UK bikes are priced at £2,495. For more information, call 01386 700 907.
