Honda Fireblade winner picks up his prize

Alan Crowder from Witney in Oxfordshire - winner of Honda's ‘Win A Bike’ competition in February - collected his brand new CBR1000RR from Bridge Motorcycles today.

He was handed the bike by Bridge's Peter Britcliff.

He said: “I’ve been a keen biker for the last thirty years and for the last nine years have commuted to work on a bike. I’ve actually got a Honda at the moment – a VFR. It’s a fantastic bike, has never missed a beat and serves me perfectly. It’s also been a great bike to take on a few lads weekends away I’ve had touring around Europe!”

Although Abingdon Honda near Oxford is Alan’s local dealer, he chose to pick up up from Bridge Motorcycles in Exeter: “I bought my VFR from them in September 2004 and have built up a good relationship with them over the years.”

"You never believe that winning a competition like this will happen to you, just that someone somewhere was lucky enough. But this time it was my time – maybe I should start doing the lottery as well!”
