The Roland Sands Experi-Mental started life as a Harley Davidson Softail, but you wouldn’t realise from looking at the custom motorcycle.

Roland Sands wanted the motorcycle to have a rugged feel to it, as if you could ride it all day and leave it out in the rain without fear of your pride and joy getting ruined.

RSD set about lightening the Harley Davidson Softail by taking the majority of the bodywork off and replacing parts with their own. They also added a ‘fuel pack’ to increase the power by 15bhp. Making the already powerful motorcycle a bit of a monster.
