Dartford Crossing suggestion

I sent the following to the Dartford Crossing site suggestions. I only sent it tonight so will wait with interest for their response.

I wonder what other bikers think of my suggestion? I use the Dartford Crossing in a lorry (work) and in my car or on my motorbike (depending on weather conditions). It may not be possible but I would like to suggest that particularly on the bridge (as the lanes seem slightly wider than the tunnel approach) that lorries are permitted to use lanes 1 & 2 only and that lanes 3 & 4 have the lanes narrowed to permit the insertion of a dedicated motorcycle lane between lane 3 & 4.

Along with overhead signage and warning signs on the approach I feel that this would make for safer filtering of motorbikes up to the tolls. If possible, maybe one lane at the booth converted into 2 motorcycle lanes with a central bollard so that motorcyclists can head for the dedicated motorcycle booth so reducing the risk of a collision with other vehicles changing lanes at the last minute.

This may prove too expensive to carry out but I think it would be much safer for motorcyclists. It may not be possible to consider the same on the tunnel approach due to the on-slip and off-slip junctions just short of the tolls. I look forward to your response.
