Pipercross filters for new ’09 metal

1 of 3

Here are the three latest air filters to come out of Pipercross – all brand new, all for new for 2009 machinery.

Pipercross air filters are claimed to consistently outperform paper and cotton-gauze rivals to supply air to the engine – even when dirty.

This is thanks to the multi-laminate construction used in every Pipercross performance air filter. Layers of varying porosity foam all work together to trap different sized particles.

Pipercross filters flow approximately 30% higher than an OE filter, so are an essential performance modification.

In addition to the performance road spec filter, a race spec version is also available, for race and track day users, offering an even higher power gain.

Pipercross’ latest expertise has gone into a filter for new Suzuki GSXR1000K9 – the same as what’s used by the Worx Crescent Suzuki team – and it retails for £52.90 excluding VAT, with a race specification one costing £58.19.

There’s also one for the ’09 Kawasaki ZX-6R that both the Gearlink and Buildbase Kawasaki teams use in British Supersport and Superstock.

It retails at £49.38 for a road version without VAT and £56.79 for a racing version.

And finally, a filter for the new Yamaha YZF-R1 has been manufactured that Rob Mac Racing is currently using in BSB.

The road version is £52.90 excluding VAT and £60.84 excluding VAT.
