Football star crashes on BMW GS

It’s emerged that  Spurs’ goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini was riding a BMW R1200GS in his horrific bike crash yesterday.   

The 36-year-old Italian international suffered two broken wrists and has a badly injured pelvis following a collision with a Ford Fiesta in Walthamstow. According to the police, paramedics on the scene described his injuries as “possibly life-changing”.

Spurs team manager Harry Redknapp has said: “We’re just relived the injuries weren’t more serious. Everyone at the club sends their best wishes and we hope that he recovers soon.”

The ex-Chelsea keeper is currently recovering in a private hospital in North London.
