1 of 1

Actor and Adventurer Charley Boorman and his world renowned filmmaking father John Boorman will be at the Playhouse Theatre for one night only on September 13. This is a unique opportunity to spend an evening with Charley and John as they reminisce over past exploits.

There will also be an opportunity to have a champagne reception with the Boormans in advance of the performance, provided you stump up £60.

Bike fanatic Charley will share the experiences of the Long Way Round, Race to Dakar, Long Way Down and By Any Means I and II.

John Boorman will give an insight into some of his famous films such as ‘Point Blank’, ‘Exorcist II’ and ‘Hope and Glory’. He will also talk about what it was like to work with his son Charley on the films ‘Emerald Forest’ and ‘Excalibur’.

Having grown up with dyslexia Charley became the President of Dyslexia Action in 2008 and therefore all proceeds from this event will go to Dyslexia Action, a national charity that changes lives through education.
