We’ve been browsing MCN bikes for sale every day to bring you some of our top picks from over 10,000 motorcycles for sale.

Here’s just a few of the fantastic modern classic machines available this week:

Honda CX500

1980 Honda CX500 – £750
Worthy but quirky pushrod, transverse, shaft drive V-twin proved massively popular in early ‘80s, now rare.
We say: Popular, yes, but mocked as ‘the plastic maggot’, too. That said, its undeniably evocative and affordable.

Suzuki GSX-R750

1986 Suzuki GSX-R750 – £1400
THE original racer rep re-wrote superbike rules in the mid-‘80s due to it light weight and racy focus. This is the 2nd year model.
We say: Decent original ones now becoming rare and are often chopped/abused. This one looks passable and tempting value.

Suzuki SP370

1979 Suzuki SP370 – £1500
Classic late ‘70s thumper trailie. Not as celebrated or prized as Yamaha’s XT500, or even Honda’s XL500, but still worthy.
We say: Good XT prices are rocketing with minters now £4K+ so this good SP represents a good value alternative.

Triumph Trident

1974 Triumph Trident T150 – £3500
Meriden Triumph’s last hurrah. By mid-70s outpaced by advancing Japanese, but today still likeable, worthy and decent value.
We say: Not as popular or valuable as late ‘60s Bonnies, but arguable more rideable and can still be decent value.
