One-armed triker heads charity rideout

1 of 3

A one-armed triker is asking bikers to join him on his final training ride before crossing the length of the UK in August.

The ride out starts at Millenium Motorcycles, St.Helen’s at 9am on 25 July and runs down to RAF Cosford, where riders will be given free admittance to the museum.

Andy Reid’s country-crossing “Numbumrun” will involve riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats over the August bank holiday weekend to raise money for Help for Heroes. Reid lost both legs and one arm while serving in Afghanistan nine months ago.

Reid will be using the rideout as an opportunity to build the strength in his good arm in order to travel the 230 miles a day required for next month’s five-day journey.
