Lorenzo laps the TT!

MotoGP championship leader Jorge Lorenzo just made his first lap of the Isle of Man TT for a parade lap and MCN’s editor exclusively rode with him.

The 2-times world champion rode a full 37.73-mile lap this morning with GP legend Angel Nieto.

After his lap, Lorenzo said: “I would like to carry on for maybe, one, two, or three laps so I know where the track goes. This place is incredible and I admire the guys who race here fast, today we only made a parade, but it was great fun. Everybody should come here and see what the TT is like.”

MCN editor Marc Potter said: “It was a great honour to ride with such a great rider, he took it very easy and made sure the crowd got to see him wheelying off almost every turn on the track.”

Lorenzo then made his way down to Bray Hill to watch the Senior Race.
