Bike racing will resume at a the re-opened Donington Park circuit with a newly-scheduled round of TTXGP.

The Donington round of the electric racing championship – which has national championships in Britain the US and Italy, climaxing in a World Final in Albacete – will take place as part of the ‘Welcome back to Donington’ weekend on 21/22 August.

The TTXGP UK race will take place on the revised 1.9 mile National Circuit. Entrance for the entire Donington event cost just a fiver per day, with other attractions including rider training, track day experiences, stunt shows, trade stands, bands and free camping.

For reasons yet to become clear, MCN believes TTXGP’s UK calendar is undergoing a reshuffle, with Cadwell Park and another round dropping out, being replaced by Donington and Anglesey.
