New winter glove from Held

1 of 2

The first new pair of gloves from Held’s 2011 range seems to have come in the nick of time. The ‘Arctic’ is made from a goatskin and fabric outer which encases a thermal lining.

There’s also a Gore-Tex membrane, which is guaranteed not to let water through for the lifetime of the gloves, as well as claiming to remain windproof and highly breathable.

There’s hard knuckle armour, plenty of foam padding, stretch panels, Velcro and zip adjusters, plus the all-important visor wipe. The Arctic gloves cost £99.99.
