Fraser’s of Gloucester is a family run business, established in 1971 by Neal Fraser, that prides itself on customer service – the firm is now celebrating 40 years under the same ownership.

You can choose between 300 new and used bikes on the one acre site and there’s a huge range of demonstrators available. It’s also possible to hire bikes from half a day to two weeks. Plus, there is five years 0% finance available on new and used machines.

“Going that extra mile is more important than getting home at 5pm,” says Neal, who will often go out to customers’ houses as late as 10pm if they call with a problem with their bike.

He adds: “Our sales department is run by a team with lots of knowledge. Our sales manager has been with us for 26 years and our service department is run by Rachel Cooper, who has been with the business since she left school 13 years ago.

“She is a fully-qualified technician and her technicians are fully-qualified and have more than 80 years’ experience between them. The staff are what makes this business tick. They want to do a good job because they care.”

■ Fraser’s, which has won the MCN Dealer of the Year Award in the single outlet category, has a large clothing and accessories department with a wide selection of ladies’ clothing/helmets and a mail order parts service.

And the firm has a substantial demo fleet, with franchises including Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Aprilia, Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera and Peugeot, as well as  used machines.
