Haslam to wear charity helmet at Silverstone

1 of 1

World Superbike racer Leon Haslam will bewearing a one-off Arai RX-7 GP to support children’s charity SPARKS (who fund medical research) during the 2011 Silverstone WSB round on July 31.

The charity is directly linked to his racing performance, Haslam giving £10 to the cause for every World Championship point he scores in 2011.

He said: “The work SPARKS does through medical research really has made a difference for thousands of children and families. I scored 376 points in 2010 but I’d rather score what Max Biaggi scored with 451, win the Championship and hand over a bigger cheque to SPARKS.”

Unfortunately, the design will not be available to buy and is just a one-off for the charity, but for more details on the Arai range, visit www.whyarai.co.uk or call 01782-569800
