This year is the 71st anniversary of the Sturgis motorcycle rally, where a small town with a population of 7,000 swells to the size of 500,000 plus with motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world.

The rally which started as a race between rival manufacturers Harley Davidson and Indian in 1938 is said to be the world’s largest motorcycle gathering. It also hosts the World Championship of custom bike building.

Global Enduro, an official Harley tour operator offer a chance to be part of this mother of all bike rallies. There are only 20 spaces and each one will cost £4,995 for a rider and £3995 for a pillion. The price includes a Harley of your choice, flights, accommodation, transfers, breakfast, dinner, expert guides, mechanic and support vehicle with a spare bike.

The 2,500 mile tour also includes a VIP trip around the Harley-Davidson Museum, various backstage passes and exclusive dinners with celebrities and notorious bike builders. Global Enduro say: “It is a home coming, the moment you cross the state line you will know instinctively why you are riding with us and why Sturgis is revered as one of the greatest expressions of biking culture and ideology on the planet.”
