Yamaha SR500 given dirt-track style

This Yamaha-based SR500 flat-tracker is the latest creation from the German customiser behind the Ducati Monster Scrambler, Jens vom Brauck.

Dubbed the D-Track, at the machine’s heart is an SR500 engine and frame. Modifications include a machined alloy swingarm, Harley-Davidson Sportster-style tank, black alloy wire rims, Wilbers shocks and high, dirt-track style Supertrapp exhaust, with many of the accessories from Kedo Performance Products.

Vom Brauck told MCN: “An SR500 has so much potential and, working with Kedo, I think we’ve brought it out. It’s not that hard to turn a tired old rat bike into something really exciting.”
