Yorkshire Ride of Honour 2012

1 of 1

After the success of the 2011 Yorkshire Ride of Honour that took place on 03/04/11 the event organisers have decided to make the ride an annual event.

We would like to thank all those who took part, donated funds or goods/services and helped us raise over £6000 for Help for Heroes and the Black Rat Fund.

We hope to make the 2012 Ride of Honour an even bigger event and preparations are already well on their way.

The Ride of Honour organising team have been hard at work in discussions with Catterick Garrison to secure Marne Barracks as our destination end point for the 2012 Ride of Honour.

We have overcome any security concerns and are very happy to confirm that we will be able to end at Marne Barracks with the full support of Catterick Garrison and its personnel.

The 2012 ride will take place on Saturday June 9 and our aim is to escort over 2500 bikers into the Marne barracks.

There are 3 starting points, Squires Cafe Bar (1200 bikes) heading North, Washington Services (1200 bikes) heading South and a 125cc/learner ride (250 bikes) from the Sun Inn, Norwood.

The cost is £15 per bike and this includes a free commemorative T-shirt. Pillions go free.

All details of how to register and keep up with the latest news can be found on our website http://www.rideofhonour.co.uk/2012/
