Tickets for the Riders for Health Day of Champions at Silverstone on Thursday June 14 go on sale at noon today (Monday).

Day of Champions takes place before the MotoGP weekend at Silverstone and helps to raise almost £200,000 each year.

Events at this year’s Day of Champions niclude stunt shows, live music, interviews, a stage show and the always popular auction.

Riders can also take part in a ride-in from the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon. On arriving at the circuit the riders will then have the chance to ride two laps of the Sivlerstone circcuit.

Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, said: “We are delighted to be working closer with Riders for Health this year, enabling them to generate more funds for their valuable work in Africa.

“We feel that we have a fantastic four day package of activity and entertainment at Silverstone over the MotoGP weekend and the purchasing experience will also be better for fans who can now use Silverstone as a one stop shop for all their event and camping tickets.”

Andrea Coleman, CEO of Riders for Health added: “We would like to thank Silverstone for allowing us to stage Day of Champions again this year, and for their help selling tickets. It will help us to raise a huge amount for our work, helping to make sure health care reaches the people who need it in Africa.”
