“Please save Foggy” says Michaela Fogarty

Carl Fogarty is one of four contestants facing the public vote in the jungle in I’m a Celebrity Get me out of here, with wife Michaela asking for help to save Foggy from being sent home.

The telephone lines are open for voting now but the public’s decision will be made tonight on the show on ITV1.

Michaela and her two daughters are out in Australia to support Carl who is one of four contestants facing the vote tonight with one being sent home for good. The four facing the vote are now part of a separate ‘tribe’ who lost a jungle trial. The remaining six contestants in the rival tribe are safe from the vote.

Michaela spoke to MCN from the jungle this morning (Monday) to beg for all of the Foggy fans and motorcyclists to help keep her husband in the game show. She said: “I really want to see Carl do well in this but the biggest problem right now is that he is up against some of the most popular contestants this year. He is one of the four but he is up against Jimmy Bullard, Tinchy Stryder and Melanie Sykes and they all have lots of fans. We need every biker to vote to save Foggy.”

Apart from a brief meeting with Carl when he won a trial and was able to see Michaela last week the couple haven’t seen each other since November 7 when Carl flew to Australia.

Michaela added: “We started going out in 1987 and this is the only time I haven’t spoken to Carl everyday. We have shared everything since we met and this has been really hard to be separated for so long. I know it’s only a game show but I know how much he wants to win! He just hates losing.

“Lots of people have said they have been surprised at how nice Carl has been and how different they think he has been to how they thought he was but I know this is the real Carl and it’s nice for me to see that’s what other people are seeing now.”
