When the 2014 Garmin Arenacross Tour kicks off on Friday evening at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena the International flavour on-track will be complimented off it with British Superbike, MotoGP and International Road Racing stars standing in the wings enjoying the high-octane action.

Milwaukee Yamaha British Superbike star Tommy Bridewell is flying into Belfast exclusively for the Arenacross event and joining him trackside will be PBM Motorsport MotoGP star Michael Laverty.

Both men are accomplished motocross stars, as is British Motostar and 125GP regular Andy Reid who wouldn’t look out of place in the Freestyle Arena with his collection of tattoos.

Local road racing heroes Michael Dunlop – four times an Isle of Man TT winner in 2013 – and his brother William, who recently signed for Tyco Suzuki, will also catch the action along with 10-time International North West 200 winner Alastair Seeley and former British Superbike stars Ian Lowry and John Laverty.

The seven-round 2014 Garmin Arenacross Tour kicks off with a double-header at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, on January 17/18 before travelling to the LG Arena, Birmingham (January 25), the Echo Arena, Liverpool (February 2), the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle (February 9) and the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield (February 15). The series signs off at London’s Wembley Arena on March 1.
