Speedway ace Tai Woffinden at Donington

Tai Woffinden swapped dirt oval for tarmac for the first time last week at the Honda Ron Haslam Race School. The 24-year old 2013 British and World Speedway champion rode a Honda CBR600RR on the school’s Premier Course at Donington Park.

He also jumped on the back of ex-500cc GP legend Ron Haslam for a blast around the former MotoGP circuit on a Fireblade. 

“I had the sickest day at Donington,” said Woffinden. “I’m a bit of an adrenalin junkie and done all sorts, but going on the back of Ron Haslam is up there with one of the best things I’ve ever done.”

Woffinden plans to return to the Ron Haslam Race School in the coming months.
