Chris Walker delivers WSB safety car to Assen

Chris Walker is many things – a former 500GP racer, a WSB race winner and a current BSB contender. He also runs his own Motocross track and has just opened a stunning new Kawasaki dealership in Grantham. And as of 7.30am on Wednesday morning, the 43 year old will also become a delivery driver.

But as you would expect – he won’t be just any delivery driver. Walker has been charged with delivering the official World Superbike Alfa Romeo 4C to the Assen round of the championship in Holland in readiness for this weekends action.

Walker will be heading off from the Ace Café in London tomorrow morning, driving to Dover to catch the ferry to Dunkirk before making his way up through France and Holland and arriving at the circuit on Wednesday evening.

MCN’s Sports Editor Michael Guy will be joining Walker for the journey and you can be involved too.  Compliments of WSB sponsor Alfa Romeo, MCN have ten pairs of VIP paddock passes for the Donington round of the WSB championship on 24th May.

There’s also a bonus prize for one of the lucky prize winners who will get a ‘hot lap’ around the Donington circuit in the Alfa Romeo safety car on race day.

There are two ways to be in with a chance with winning the VIP passes….

  • If you see the Alfa Romeo 4C safety car anytime between Wednesday 15 and Sunday 19 during the Assen WSB weekend tweet a picture of it including the #ISee4C tag.
  • Send any questions you want to ask Chris to @MCNsport on Wednesday 15th including the tag #AskChrisWalker

The winners will be notified by MCN so keep your eyes peeled for the Alfa and get all the questions you want to ask Chris in on Wednesday.
