First ride: Triumph Thruxton Ace

Triumph’s new Thruxton Ace limited edition was recently put through its paces by MCN Executive Editor Phil West. His full first ride report is in this week’s MCN, out January 7. But here are his impressions so far:

“The ‘Ace’ is basically a limited edition, ‘tarted up’ version of the standard Ace and is being built to mark the iconic British firm’s historic association with London Rockers’ hang-out, the Ace Café, so it’s got special paint, a few new features and so on.

“It’s been beautifully done, too. I had one of my best rides in months, despite it being the depths of winter, thanks to it being stylish, a doddle to ride and entertaining. Find out more in this week’s MCN.”
