MCN Award winners: Which would you choose?

1 of 5

It won’t be long before MCN decides its coveted 2016 Machine of the Year. It’s been a bumper year for new metal, so choosing the winner will be tougher than ever. But before we do that we fancied revisiting our award winners from the past five years.

2011 – Ducati Diavel, Michael Neeves (MCN Senior Road Tester)
2012 – BMW S1000RR, Liam Marsden (MCN Web producer)
2013 – BMW R1200GS, Joe Dick (MCN Photographer)
2014 – Yamaha MT-07 (MCN Office Manager)
2015 – Kawasaki H2 (MCN Sports Editor)

We’ve got new versions of each bike and five lucky members of staff will be taking them on a mini-break to the beautiful seaside town of Le Touquet, just down the French coast from Calais. We want to see if these great bikes are still as good as we remember.

Our findings will appear in MCN a week Wednesday, where we’ll also be finding out reader’s and dealer’s opinions, how much you can pick a used one up for, what examples are for sale at MCNbikesforsale.com and how they’ve changed over the years . You can also keep up with our trip online over the next few days.

But in the meantime, which is your favourite and why?
