Build your own BMW GS… out of Lego

Call us big kids if you like, but we can’t wait to get our hands on this new BMW R1200GS kit from toy legends Lego.

It isn’t the first time that Lego have worked with a motor company, having models previously released with Porsche and Mercedes Benz but it is the first time they have partnered with a motorcycle manufacturer.

TOP STORIES

Designers from both Lego and BMW worked together to reproduce a faithful representation of the mighty GS. The characteristic lines of the model mirror that of the bike it represents and designers have even gone so far as to give the miniature a boxer twin motor and a working shaft drive.

The baby GS consists of 603 parts and measures 18cm high, 33cm long and 10cm wide. The bike will be available to buy on January 1, 2017.

The box suggests an age range of 10-16 years but that isn’t going to stop us getting our order in…
