Honda introduce fixed price service plans

1 of 1

Honda have rolled out a fixed price service plan option when you buy a new motorcycle.

It’s simple in the way it works too – buy a new bike and pay a fixed amount extra that will cover it for the first three services.

And, as you pay for your services upfront, you have less to worry about while you’re enjoying your new two-wheeled pal.

The Honda Service Plan will have a lifespan of 27 months or until the motorcycle has its first three services.

It covers the cost of all items that would usually be scheduled to be replaced or renewed at the specified service intervals such as oil, filters and brake fluid.

The plan stays with the bike too, which could help bump up the value of the machine if you choose to sell-up before completing the services.

Additionally, Honda say that the new plan could cut the cost of servicing by guarding against inflation too. Meaning that owners can have the benefits of today’s prices later on.

The price of the plan will depend on the capacity of the Honda purchased and only applies to newly purchased bikes – though Honda are giving customers the option to take out a plan for up to 90 days after the bike is sold, providing it hasnt already reached its first service.

For motorcycles up to 250cc the service plan will cost £375, for bikes with a capacity between 251cc and 800cc it will cost £599, and for machines that are 801cc and over the price will be £675.
