Yamaha have taken the wraps off their new V-twin luxury cruiser, the Star Venture, although there is now word on whether or not the new model will be available in the UK.

The new model is powered by a 1854cc air-cooled V-twin engine but features plenty of modern tech, including riding modes and ‘Sure Park’, which will assist you when moving the bike both forward and backward. The Star Venture also comes complete with ABS and traction control.

Up front there’s a full colour seven inch touchscreen for controlling things like Bluetooth communication, and the system also works with voice commands. As is becoming more common, the Venture has a keyless ignition. Both passenger and rider seats are heated, and the bike also comes with heated grips. The screen is electronically adjustable and there are also lower fairing vents and mid fairing deflectors to direct more cool air to the rider or deflect it.

The standard bike will cost $24,999 (£19,361) and Yamaha will also offer a TransContinental package that will add GPS, CB and Sirius XM and XM Travel Link, an extra pair of speakers and “Dual Zone” audio controls that allow rider and passenger to listen to different audio sources and take separate phone calls via an accessory headset and microphone. The package also includes an alarm and LED fog lights. The TransContinental package bumps the price up to $26,999 (£20,910).
