2010 Aprilia Shiver 750 - first ride

Aprilia’s updated 2010 Shiver is currently being tested by MCN’s Adam Child on the amazing Route Napoleon in the south of France. This is what he has to say…

“Aprilia have decided to make the Shiver more accessible and give it more of a sporting edge, the seat is thinner and lower which is instantly noticeable which makes the bike more user friendly for shorter riders and those new to bikes.

“To improve the sporting potential of the middleweight all-rounder the brakes have been beefed up with wavy discs, the rear wheel is slightly narrower and the suspension slightly stiffer.

“It’s also much more eye-catching than before  with a new colour scheme and front cowl.

“The 750cc V-twin motor is unchanged but it’s still more than enough to have fun with and the taut chassis is making easy work of the amazing switch back Route Napoleon.”
