If you’re at a loose end this weekend then there are a whole host of open days and special offers to take advantage of and plenty of chance to meet top British racers.

The Bike People in Doncaster are having a birthday bas open weekend and Steve Plater will be on site with the Yamaha race truck as well as the Po Boys playing live accompanied by fireworks on Saturday night. There will also be a mobile dyno with prize for the highest output, Yamaha test rides, charity rideout on Saturday, brolly babes and the MCN girls.

Powersport bikes in Bradford are holding an open weekend with test rides on the 2004 Suzukis, a bike show, trade stands and dyno run. You’ll be able to ride anything from a GSX-R1000 to SV650 or V-Strom 650 with hourly test rides available for pre booking. There will also be a bike show on site with prizes for the best Streetfighter, Hayabusa, Custom, Classic and GSXR.

Fraser’s of Gloucester have got an open weekend with guest appearances from Kawasaki riders Glen Richards and John McGuinness and Virgin Yamaha riders Gary Mason and Steve Plater.

There will also be loads of demo bikes available, MCN babes and loads of discounts on clothing and accessories.

Rocket Centre in Blackburn has moved to a new site and is holding an open day on Sunday July 11. The new store offers a 10,000 sqft showroom with all the latest 2004 bikes plus a massive clothing and accessories department and eight bay workshop including Dyno. If all that’s not enough there’s even a coffee shop and bike training facility on site.

Infinity Motorcycles are having a birthday celebration with Glen Richards and Paul Young in attendance plus half price helmets, huge discounts on clothing and a free barbecue.
