1 of 1

Yamaha has unveiled it’s 2005 range of YZ off-road bikes at the Belgian motocross Grand Prix in Neeroeteren (Saturday, June 26, 2004).

The two-stroke 125cc and 250cc bikes both feature aluminium frames for faster handling. The YZ125 weighs 86kg, and features a new, more powerful six-speed motor with a new cylinder head and piston, revised port shape and timing. The YZ250 still features the same engine, but also sheds weight with an aluminium frame and semidouble cradle layout.

The two four-stroke bikes, the YZ250F abd YZ450F both get engine improvements to gain power but maintain rideability.
