Suzuki launches RM-Z450

1 of 1

Suzuki has finally launched a production version of the RM-Z450 motorcross machine that has been competing in the World MX1 championship all this year.

The bike, which took its first win in the championship at the recent Italian GP, is Suzuki’s first 450cc four-stroke motocross bike and the first of Suzuki’s off-road range to use an aluminium beam frame.

The four-valve liquid-cooled motor has been developed in-house by Suzuki and makes use of technology from both the GSX-R road bikes and the RM motocross development programme.

The production machine was launched at Suzuki America’s annual dealer show and is expected to be available in the UK by early November but no UK price has been set yet.
