Derbi launches Mulhacen

Derbi revealed its new Mulhacen for the first time in public at the Milan Bike Show on Monday (Nov 15).

It uses a single cylinder four-stroke four valve engine with a 659.7cc capacity. Bore and stroke are 100 It makes around 48bhp.

It’s five-gear and has 43mm forks and a rear monoshock. Brakes are 320mm front disc and 245mm rear and the 165kg scrambler-inspired machine has a 13litre fuel tank capacity.

The firm has also added a 125 and 250cc version of its GP1 sporty scooter. It even comes with radial mount front brake. Wheels are 14in items.

There’s also a stripped-down 125cc GPX1 scooter/bike and a new city scooter, the Rambla 125, too.
