New Honda off-roaders

1 of 1

Honda has unveiled a new CRF250R crosser for 2006 with a twin exhaust and heavily revised engine.

The new bike has got so many new bits it’s almost a completely new machine with new parts including:

Twin exhaust for mass centralisation and more low-down torque

A heavily revised engine to provide a wider band of power.

New carburettor

Revised suspension

And a new swingarm

The radiator has been moved down by 5mm to provide better balance

But the full on crosser wouldn’t be the same without an enduro version, so there’s also a new CRF250X.

The X gets a wide ratio gearbox, tiny LED taillight and halogen headlight, electric start, and larger 8.3 litre tank and an exhaust that complies with all noise restrictions.
