Ducati’s 1098 drew such huge numbers to the manufacturer’s stand at the Seattle motorcycle show, show organisers came close to shutting the stand because of the fire risk caused by the mob.

Fire Marshals insisted that Ducati restricted stand entry to a maximum of 50 at one time, and the restriction meant many show-goers couldn’t see the bike.
