NEC Show: Cagiva Mito 525 reaches UK

1 of 1

Cagiva importer MotoGB will be bringing in the first of the updated Mito 525 in the first half of next year.

The new 525 (actually 125cc – the 525 tag is a nod to Cagiva’s 500GP past) was revealed at the Milan Show in 2007 but parent company MV Agusta Group’s financial troubles meant the bike had yet to reach UK dealerships.

But production machines will reach us next year, with an expected price tag of £3999. The new model drops the Ducati 916-alike looks in favour of a more modern look, and the engine is now fitted with an electronically-controlled carburetor to clean up emissions to allow the bike to stay on sale.
