Sbarro reveals four-wheeled motorcycle

Geneva-based designer Franco Sbarro has revealed the Pendolauto concept bike at the annual Geneva Motor Show.

The four-wheeled leaning “bike” uses independent front and rear suspension to allow it to lean into corners while retaining more stability than a conventional two-wheeler.

In typical Sbarro style – remember, he was the man behind several concept bikes with hubless wheels in the 1980s and 1990s – the concept is more about style than practicality, right down to the use of Perspex wheels to echo the look of his previous hubless designs.
