New Husaberg FE390 enduro

Husaberg launched its brand new FE390 enduro machine for the first time in the UK at the Dirt Bike Show, Stoneleigh Park yesterday.

The 393.3cc four-valve, four-stroke, fuel-injected, six-speed, electric-start, single features the same unique engine design, with the cylinder canted forward by 70-degrees.

That’s the same engine configuration as the existing FE450 and FE570 off-roaders launched last year, but with a shorter 55.5mm stroke than the existing 450, but retaining a 95m bore.

Compression is reduced to 11.1:1 compared to 11.8:1 of the 450 and 570 models.

The new model is aimed at the clubman enduro riders or trail riders – and features a smoother, more manageable power delivery, rather than the brutish power of the full-on competition 450 and 570 competition machines.

Chassis spec is entirely the same as the 450 and 570s with double-cradle chrome-moly, perimeter frame, WP suspension. Weight is 114kg. On the road price is £6895.
