Honda has quietly released video of its new VFR1200 going through the gears on a rolling road to demonstrate its new dual clutch.
The new clocks and switchgear are shown, with gear changes made via two switches on the left bar – you use your finger to change up and thumb to change down.
There’s also a comparison between a normal bike and the dual clutch model to demonstrate how smooth the new gear change system is – the tail of the normal bike dips on every change while the new bike is completely smooth. Thanks to MCN reader Paul Thompson for this tip-off.
