2010 Aprilia Shiver 750 - tech specs revealed

1 of 1

Aprilia has revealed full tech specs for the 2010 Shiver 750 which is set to cost £6,199 when it goes on sale in May.

As MCN’s story back in November revealed, Aprilia has tweaked rather than redesigned their 750cc v-twin middleweight.

New features for 2010 include a stylish bikini fairing for more wind protection, funky wavey discs (along with revised brake master cylinders) and new racier rearsets.

The ergonomics of the bike have been subtley altered – the seat is lower and 5cm slimmer to make the bike easier and more comfortable for novice or shorter riders. The rider footpegs have been re-positioned for more comfort, while the handlebars have been dropped slightly for a more aggressive and sporting stance.

The 95bhp Shiver 750 still boasts a fly-by-wire throttle and switchable engine mappings for sport, touring and rain riding.

MCN road tester Adam Child will be at the 2010 Shiver launch this Friday, so check back then for updates on what it’s like to ride.
