New Moriwaki tuned Zephyr 1100

Legendary Japanese tuning company Moriwaki has come up with this delicious version of Kawasaki’s Zephyr 1100 a makeover for 2010.

Famous for launching the racing careers of Graeme Crosby and Wayne Gardner, Moriwaki produced a well-known, customised Zephyr 1100 in 1999 known as the Monster.

The biggest change on this latest version is a big bore 1258cc engine, carving out 110bhp, and a retro-styled hand made exhaust system.

A new swingarm brings some of the most advanced work Moriwaki does on its racebikes to the road.

While a computer designed, aluminium alloy arm gives maximum stiffness and works with a 180 section rear wheel and tyre, relocating the rear calliper mount.

There is also new suspension and a new clutch.
