Electric motorcycle manufacturer Brammo has started production in Hungary, expanding its business into Europe for the first time.

Production is taking place at the Flextronics facility in Sarvar and will include both the Enertia and Enertia Plus models. Brammo claims that the newly adapted production line will be capable of manufacturing 660 bikes per month.

Supplying North American, European and Asian markets, Brammo claims the facility is “the most advanced electric motorcycle assembly line in the world.”

Brammo’s Director of Product Development Brian Wismann said: “We have been extremely impressed with how much Flextronics brings to the table in the way of manufacturing and quality processes. This partnership gives Brammo the ability to scale production and access global markets and the benefit of strengthening its reputation as the builder of the world’s finest electric motorcycles.”
