BMW unveils production spec electric scooter

1 of 2

BMW has shown off the final production version of the company’s first electric two-wheeler and it appears to be exactly the same as the concept bike MCN tested last year.

The BMW C evolution scooter is the third of a trio of scooters released by BMW and it joins the conventional petrol-powered C600 Sport and C650GT models already on sale.

BMW has made a big play of the new electric scooter being developed with performance to match the petrol machines and BMW claims a 62 mile range in ‘practical operation’ although we have no idea what this actually means.

BMW hasn’t set a price yet but expect it to command a hefty premium over the petrol versions which are already £9500 and £9800 for the Sport and GT respectively.
