Emissions documents published for Triumph’s 2017 range in America have revealed that the new 900cc Street Twin is set to be joined by two further bikes using the same engine.
One is the Bonneville T100 – a bike we’ve already seen in spy pictures, which looks near-identical to the 1200cc T120 and the other is called the Street Cup, which was spied on the public roads in the UK last week.
As the name suggests, it’s a sportier version of the Street Twin. By bolting on a selection of Thruxton parts, including the café racer’s headlight, clip-ons and seat, as well as a new exhaust system, the firm has created an instant new model. The screen and panniers are already available in the options catalogue. The only other notable change is to the front brake, which is still a single disc but is now a fully-floating design with a different Nissin caliper.
