What’s good about the Rev’It Freemont boots?
Out of the box, these fashionable full-grain leather short boots feel really robust and well made, especially with their injection-moulded ankle protectors, which led me to think they might take a while to break in and feel comfortable. I was wrong. From the first ride, the Freemont felt like I’d been wearing them for years, and didn’t restrict my feel for the gear and brake levers. They’ve since become my boot of choice for when I’m wearing skinny-fit Kevlar jeans, as they are easy to put on via the gusseted zip on the inner ankle, provide protection from light showers, and appear to be aging well too.
And what’s not?
I have to be sure to wear fairly thick socks if I’m planning to do any walking whilst wearing them, as they can rub the back of my heel and make it sore.
