RiDE Review: Daytona Road Star GTX

Published: 01 November 2016

Lower than other touring boots, these heavily built Daytonas are instantly comfortable. The calf width is adjustable, and there’s the choice of a wide fitting at no extra cost.

They’re good to walk in and superb for riding, delivering exemplary feedback despite the sturdy construction.

They’ve never leaked and keep feet warm. The downside is that in extreme heat they do get very hot – but for normal British summer temperatures, they’re OK.

  • Leather upper
  • Rubber sole
  • Gore-Tex lining
  • Reinforced shin, heel and toe
  • Double-zip closure
