What’s good? I used these on a sub-zero trip to Europe. The set was thrown on top of my base layer thermals when the going got really tough as a final layer before my motorcycle suit. The clever kit is totally windproof at the front and has a soft fleecy type material at the back (which isn’t windproof). The gear was perfectly breathable and most importantly kept the warmth in and the cold out.
What’s not? I was tempted to say the £100 price is quite a lot for a set of thermals. However, considering they are not your average base layer and are breathable as well as resistant to water and wind, I have to admit they are certainly worth it.
