What’s good about the Rev'IT Bellecour Ladies jacket?
Beautiful quality and fit with a really distinctive cut, the Bellecour feels more like a fashion jacket than an item of biking kit, especially with its teal-coloured silk lining, diagonal zip with ribbed detailing, and high-quality press studs. I've never had more compliments about a piece of kit before. But while it’s fashion-focused on the outside, the Bellecour packs all the reassuring safety features you'd expect. There's CE-approved soft armour at the shoulders and elbows, and reinforced seams, and velcro adjustment tabs for comfort. There's also an internal pocket for an optional back protector (£29.99).
And what’s not?
Perhaps it's a feature of the vintage-style leather, but I've noticed it's starting to age with a blue hue, particularly around the natural creases created by the bend in my arms. The leather dye isn't transferring to my hands or other clothing, so I'm not entirely sure what's causing the issue. I hope it doesn't get any worse!
